I ordered VidBox: Video Conversion for Mac so that I could record Hi8 tapes from a Sony Sharp Camcorder model no: VL-AH50U to my Mac. I'm currently running OS High Sierra and the Mac model is A1466. I've downloaded the software, connected the camcorder to my Mac via Video/Audio (red, yellow, and white connectors) cable to the Vidbox then. The video below was made from a DVD of When Harry met Sally and a Vidbox conversion using the DVD players S-video out. In the video below the gray bands are again obvious on the right side of the.
