The American Spirit Dance Company, under the direction of Jo Rowan, presents Home for the Holidays December 5-8 at the Kirkpatrick Theatre at Oklahoma City University.

This year—you guessed it—it's a different story. 2, the Westwood Home for the Holidays Committee confirmed it's cancelled the parade, which was set for Dec. 5, over the Covid-19 pandemic. The Home for the Holidays Designer Showhouse is presented by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles and benefits Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. The showhouse is located at 810 Kenry Court, Atlanta, GA 30342, and runs now through December 6, 2020.

Let your holiday spirit soar with this festive, high-energy dance celebration. Journey to a Christmas party like no other with the American Spirit Dance Company! Experience brand new kicklines, tap dances, and more from OCU's nationally recognized dancers and choreographers. Don't forget to have your picture taken with Santa's helpers during the show's intermission! Sweets and merchandise will also be available in the lobby.

Dancers in the American Spirit Dance Company hail from the Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment, the nation's premiere musical theatre dance program that was ranked as the #1 BFA Dance Program in the nation by OnStage. This destination collegiate program has alumni credits in over 86 Broadway musicals and has produced 49 Radio City Rockettes and counting making it no wonder that PlayBill ranked Oklahoma City University among this year's Top 10 Most Represented Colleges on Broadway.

'In our opinion, no program is doing a better job of preparing dancers for this industry.' -OnStage.

As a gift to the community, the Center for the Performing Arts will usher in the holiday season with a free online concert by Michael Feinstein, the Ambassador of the Great American Songbook, featuring acclaimed inspirational singer Sandi Patty as special guest.

Home for the Holidays: An Evening with Michael Feinstein and Special Guest Sandi Patty will stream live from the Palladium stage to viewers worldwide in multi-camera HD video with stereo sound. For the program of seasonal favorites and Songbook classics, Feinstein will be backed by pianist Miro Sprague, drummer Mark McLean and bassist Steve Dokken.

Feinstein is the Center's Artistic Director and Founder of the affiliated Great American Songbook Foundation. His work as a singer, pianist, preservationist and advocate for timeless popular music has earned him five Grammy Award nominations.

Home For The Holidays Strongsville

Patty, known as 'The Voice,' is one of the most acclaimed vocalists in contemporary Christian music, with 40 Dove Awards, five Grammy® Awards and numerous other accolades. After many years of living in Indiana, she and her husband, Don, currently reside in her native Oklahoma. As a blended family, they are parents to eight children and eight grandchildren.
